Why?

After another horrifyingly unsuccessful weekend for my beloved Vikings I'm forced to ask myself the question "Why do I care?". How, or why, has football become so incredibly important to us midwesterners that it alternately polarizes those who would be friends and unites those who wouldn't? I recently received a text message from someone who has failed to write or call since late July. The message? "How 'bout them Vikings?" It takes the opening Sunday of football season for my friends to remember why they talk to me. I'm quite positive that if the Vikings would have won I would have waited another week for any form of communication from this mystery friend (you know who you are). I, unfortunately, have not been able to make any of those snide phone calls inquiring tongue in cheek about the outcome of a hated team (Packers) game because it could just get turned around on me. So Vikings, I implore you, just win a damn game so I can stick it to those annoying cheeseheads ('cause you know the Packers aren't going to win any time soon). At least score some points for God's sake. See what I mean about that polarizing thing? I'M A MONSTER!

For those of you who are looking for an update on the Jaime v. Daisy living situation the score definitely stands at Daisy-435 Jaime-0. The kid is seriously a monster. SHE WHINES ALL THE TIME I CAN'T STAND IT. Seriously, don't they make child muzzles? And the kid just doesn't go to sleep. I had to go in her room FIVE times last night to ask her what she wanted.
This was after Sandy had gone in there about 10 times, given up, and gone to bed. Thanks a lot ass hole. Although I really can't blame her, I would have tried to escape too. Unfortunately Daisy was interferring with my Caddyshack viewing and Lord knows you don't want to mess with that. What if I missed something and didn't know what was going on???? There are some shining moments in the living with Daisy situation though. Like the other day when she said to Sandy and I "Here's what I would do if a bad guy broke into the house and was laying on the couch and asleep" and proceeded to fling herself onto the couch, broken arm and all. That might be a "had to be here" funny, but it was damn funny nonetheless.

That's about all I have for this fine morning kids. I've only had 1 giant cup of coffee so I'd better go refill. I have to get all hyped up to do the nothing that I have planned for today. Maybe I'll go find a job. I actually got offered one but I decided that driving a half an hour away for work where there are million places to work right around here just wasn't economical. Besides, all the people that work there are old or really really really dorky. Peace.
