Normal at Last

I've been pretty remiss in updating my blog since the incident with my car. Since then I have gotten confirmation from my insurance company that Turbo was indeed totaled and bought a new car, a 2006 Mazda 3. It's a color that I like to call blurple simply because I'm not sure if it's blue or purple. The registration says blue but I remain unconvinced. So needless to say, I owe my soul to the company store. Do do do do dododo Do.
After the car drama and a brief spout of illness life has returned to normal. Normal is boring but at least it's not nauseus. I still love the National Geographic Channel and hate my job. Speaking of jobs, however, I finally found a real job for which I'm qualified. Yesterday I applied for a job as a Study Abroad Coordinator at Carroll College. All you need is a bachelor's degree and study abroad experience. Check and check. Hopefully they'll at least call me back. I definitely need another job now, That's Amore is not gonna pay the bills now. Not that it was doing that great of a job in the first place.
Well, as this blog is amazingly uninspired and completely uninteresting, I shall end it and begin to get ready for the job I dislike so much. A five hour shift doesn't seem that long...until you work at That's Amore. It's not a bad job, it's just not what I want to be doing with my life.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid Milwaukee

My car is totalled. This is very very bad. I hate Milwaukee.

Everyone please say a prayer for Turbo, who now rests with the Model Ts in Heaven.

Julie's comment prompts me to add that I am totally fine just a little sad and a lot of mad.

Home Star Runner

I don't usually dedicate my blog to advertising websites but I feel that this one deserves it. You have to check out http://www.homestarrunner.com. Heee-freakin'-larious. Make sure you look at Strong bad's Emails. Especially the "guitar" one (it's towards the bottom of the list). If you have a strange sense of humor, or really any sense of humor, you will find this funny. I give you my money back guarantee.

Post 101

Post 101. Wow, I've been at this for awhile. Maybe I'll print them out and make a book that my children will never be able to read. Can't have them thinking their mom drank a little in college. Speaking of drinking a little, I spent the last week with my brothers. All of them. Nat came home from Kuwait, Keith came home from Cali and I spent the weekend at Scotts. Never were we all together though. Oh well. Anyway, it seems that the only way that we can bond is to drink and make fun of people. Heaven forbid should anyone say or do anything that is slightly less than right.

In other news, I made cookies! Yep, real live cookies. Well, not live. But they could have been they were so life like. I made some happy pumpkins and some happy ghosts and some happy bats and some happy bears (they were Halloween bears). You almost didn't want to eat them...until you realized how delicious they were. I'm the next Martha Stewart, let me tell you. Except for that jail thing. Don't want to go to jail.

I puked on the coffee table and my mom had to clean it up. Oops.
