No Hablo Español!

Wow do I not know Spanish. This just seems to keep getting harder! The language thing, that is, not the sunny weather thing. This morning I had the craziest conversation with my host family about what I ate for dinner last night and whether or not I liked Corn Flakes. Never thought a Corn Flake conversation could get out of hand...Or that I´d ever be having a Corn Flake conversation.

Class is okay though. I´m in Intermediate 1, which I guess is where I belong. At least that´s what I think when I´m out of class. When I´m sitting there having no idea what the teacher is talking about I´m not so sure... Marine Biology and Tropical Ecology should be fun though, if not just for the fact that they´re taught in English. Tomorrow I´m going to visit a volcano and sit in the hot springs for 5 hours. Then we´re going to a night club. How much do you want to be me right now?

I managed to find some friends but they aren´t as funny as I usually require my friends to be. Maybe because they´re younger than most my friends at home. I just don´t get the 20 year old humor anymore. Too damn old, I guess...=) Another thing I still don´t get is this damn keyboard...There´s a baby crying at the computer next to me. Let´s discuss how annoying that is. Is there really a need to take your child to an internet cafe? NO. Is there really a need to have children? Again with the no.

Speaking of not funny, apparently I´ve lost my sense of humor where blogging is concerned. Perhaps I´m afraid that no one will get my jokes, as seems to be the case down here. Hmm... Please keep leaving me comments, they make my day. On the other blog too, it will make it seem like more than just my mom is reading it.
