Humiliation
Never make a bet that you can't afford to lose. Excellent advice. Unfortunately I didn't follow it. Oh, don't worry. I didn't bet the family ranch on a greyhound race or anything, there was no money involved. Just pride. And my soul. One Andrew Herman (devout Packer fan) and I (devout Vikings fan) made a bet on the outcome of the Packer/Viking game. If the Vikings won he would sport a Viking jersey and if the Packers won I would be forced to wear a Packer jersey. Needless to say, the Vikings let me down. So last night, there I was at the bar in Andy GIGANTIC Favre jersey. Let me tell you, it hurt. Hurt in my head. Hurt in my heart. Hurt in my soul. Never make a bet you can't afford to lose.
In other news, Carrie, Amy and I attended the performance of The Nutcracker this afternoon. Ash and Bridge made their debuts as budding ballerinas. Unless you count the zombie thing, which I don't. Ash was a fine snowflake, even when she crashed into someone, and Bridget was the best flower out there. Even though she apparently forgot how to smile. But let me tell you what, if you're looking for a way to spend your afternoon amateur ballet is not the way to go. Which reminds me, it's nap time.

Ahhh..the old "Other teams jersey bet." Fun. Speaking of Favre jerseys, they were the most popular again by sales numbers. Doesn't every cheesedome that needs a Favre jersey have one by now? Are people buying backup Favre jerseys? What is going on?
